As of January, 2012, the Route 24 Interchange 8B project is complete and in service. The project was completed approximately 1 year ahead of schedule. For images of the project's opening, please view the images below. The new interchange was officially opened in a ceremony attended by, among others, Frank DePaola (MassDOT Highway Division Administrator), Jim Hoyle (Federal Highway Administration), and William Flanagan (Mayor of Fall River.)
